Course description
Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation has become a widely used and well-established treatment procedure of many different hematologic disorders and diseases. After transplantation, the recipient is carefully monitored over time to allow early identification and intervention of imminent relapse.
GenDx has two product lines for chimerism monitoring: based on NGS (NGStrack and TRKengine) and on qPCR (KMRtype/track and KMRengine).
This course offers comprehensive training on chimerism monitoring using NGS, detailing the principles, methodologies and applications using GenDx NGStrack kits and data analysis using TRKengine. At the end of the course you will have a clear view of the chimerism workflow for NGS.
In this training you will learn
- What chimerism means in the context of a hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
- The basic principle of the markers design and NGS assay developed for chimerism monitoring
- How to add subjects and samples information in TRKengine
- How to import and link data in TRKengine
- How to review and interpret TRKengine results
