Course description

Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation has become a widely used and well-established treatment procedure of many different hematologic disorders and diseases. After transplantation, the recipient is carefully monitored over time to allow early identification and intervention of imminent relapse.

GenDx has two product lines for chimerism monitoring: based on NGS (NGStrack and TRKengine) and on qPCR (KMRtype/track and KMRengine).

This course offers comprehensive training on chimerism monitoring using qPCR, detailing the principles, methodologies and applications using GenDx KMRtype/KMRtrack kits and data analysis using KMRengine.

In this training you will learn

  • What chimerism means in the context of a hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
  • The importance of chimerism monitoring
  • The basic principle of chimerism monitoring by qPCR
  • Setting up a typing and monitoring experiment in KMRengine
  • Interpreting the KMRengine results

Software version
